WE WANT TO RECRUIT A NEW CHURCH MANAGER! This wide-ranging and important role provides vital support to the Vicar and Churchwardens in their
work of developing and delivering the ministry and mission of the church. It involves, but is not limited
to, production of all orders of service and worship-related materials, oversight of communication and
publicity (including multi-platform digital presence), book-keeping, financial forecasting, contract
negotiation, management of property portfolio (including repairs and maintenance), liaison with property
and car park tenants, supervision of Church Hall rental and oversight of salary, ITIS and Social Security
payments for employees.
For the right person, this will be a stimulating, rewarding and challenging role, which will demand strong
organisational skills, a willingness to juggle many tasks and the ability to work autonomously and
prioritise tasks appropriately.
The job is for 20 hours per week and there can be some flexibility around when those hours are
worked. Job-share would be considered. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a Christian with a
desire to further the work of the Church.
The salary will start at £16.23 per hour, paid monthly in arrears.
